摘　　要：WiMax正式被批准成为第四个全球3G标准,WiMax对中国3G的发展将产生长远的影响。文中首先分析了WiMax的技术优势,然后分析了WiMax与3G的关系和WiMax对3G的影响,并根据中国国情,分析了移动WiMax受到的政策、产业、市场需求影响以及在中国的发展前景。最后得出结论:WiMax与Wi-Fi、3G具有很多重叠的甚至是超越的功能,具有和Wi-Fi、3G竞争的关系,但它们各自的市场定位不同,各自的任务和目标也不一样,更多的是一个互补关系。WiMax is officially approved as the 4th global 3G standard. It has development of 3G in China. This paper first analyzes the technical superiority of relationship between WiMax and 3G and the effect of WiMax on 3G, and based on China＇ a long-term WiMax, then s condition, effect on the discusses the explains the effects of government policy, industry and market demand on the mobile WiMax and predicts the future development of WiMax in China. Finally, it concludes that WiMax has many same functions as Wi-Fi and 3G, or even more advanced functions as compared with them, thus it holds a competitive superiority. However, these three technologies, for their different marketing positions, different tasks and different goals, are in a complementary relation.
