摘  要:为了获得各个波长独立可调的、稳定的时域交织多波长超短脉冲序列,满足光电混合模数转换器(ADC)对采样脉冲源的需求,该文首次结合啁啾-色散脉冲压缩技术和高速光子开关技术来实现超短脉冲产生及多波长脉冲时域分离。在验证性实验中,4个密集波分复用(DWDM)标准波长的直流光源在经过强度和相位调制、光子开关以及色散模块后,产生了各个波长功率可独立调节的时域交织多波长光脉冲,脉宽约22 ps,有希望实现40 GS/s或更高采样率的光电混合ADC。在系统级测试中,使用这种方法产生的脉冲序列在完成待测信号的采样后,其无杂散动态范围(SFDR)超过32 dBc,等效于5.3 b的SFDR比特数(SFDR bits)。A stable time-interleaved, multi-wavelength ultra-short pulse train was developed where the amplitude of each wavelength can be adjusted independently without affecting the other wavelength components. Compression of chirped pulses and high-speed optical switching are combined to generate the ultra-short pulse train with temporal separation of the multiple wavelength components. The generation of this kind of pulse train is a key issue in optoelectronic hybrid analog-to-digital converters (ADC). In a demonstrational experiment, four continuous-wave lasers with standard Dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) wavelengths are used to generate a time-interleaved optical pulse train with pulse widths of about 22 ps for 40 GS/s or even higher sampling rates, after intensity modulation, phase modulation, optical switching and compression of the chirped pulse. The amplitudes of all four wavelengths show good uniformity. Analysis of the electrical spectrum of the post-sampling pulse train shows a spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) of over 32 dBc, which means the SFDR was more than 5.3 bits.
