摘　　要：《元史新编》是继《圣武记》、《海国图志》之后,魏源自觉把对西北边疆史地的研究与反侵略斗争联系起来的又一重要成果。该著的问世,有着鲜明的时代性,其编撰思想中强烈的近代"经世"意识、体例创新的可贵探索、寓褒贬于"求真"的"春秋"笔法及自觉探求社会历史发展大势以突出元代社会特点的努力,从历史编撰的层面为传统史学注入近代的内容。New Annals of Yuan History is Wei Yuan＇ s another important achievement that he consciously combined the research into northwest border history and geography with anti -aggression war after Sheng Wu Ji and Illustrated Annals of Overseas Countries. Strong epochal character can be found in this book. With the keen practical consciousness in editing thought, valuable exploration of innovating forms, the Chun Qiu writing style implying amelioration and pejoration in the discovery of the truth, and conscious searching the social and historical trends in order to highlight the characteristics of Yuan Dynasty, this book added new content to the traditional historiography from the level of historical compilation.
