摘　　要：作为一种具有感知、计算和通信能力的新型通信网络,无线多媒体传感器网络(WMSN)在军事和民用等诸多领域具有广阔的应用前景,已经引起了学术界和各国政府的高度重视。MAC协议是无线多媒体传感器网络设计的关键技术之一。首先介绍了无线多媒体传感器网络特点与MAC协议设计面临的挑战,然后对现有的协议进行了分类,并着重分析了几种典型协议和算法,最后探讨了今后研究的方向。As a novel kind of communication network with the ability of sensing, computation and communication, the Wireless Multimedia Sensors Network（WMSN） has profound prospects in many fields for example military and civil application,and has received wide attention of academia and governments both domestic and abroad. MAC protocol is one of the key issues of WMSN. Firstly, the characteristics of WMSN and the technical challenges of MAC protocol are introduced. Then the existing protocols are categorized and several typical protocols and algorithms are discussed in detail. Finally, the direction in future study are listed.
