摘 要:用阳离子淀粉对研磨碳酸钙(GCC)进行包覆改性,对改性前后GCC的微观形貌、白度、Zeta电位、溶解性和溶胀度进行研究。结果表明,与GCC及相同用量的淀粉改性GCC相比,随阳离子淀粉含量的增加,阳离子淀粉改性GCC的Zeta电位增加,溶胀度增大,溶解度降低,白度略有下降;阳离子淀粉改性GCC对纸张增强效果最明显;与GCC相比,在加填量为40%时,阳离子改性GCC加填纸张的抗张强度提高143%,耐破度提高185%,但白度略有降低,留着率增加86.0%。A modified filler, ground calcium carbonate embedded with cationic starch was prepared. The morphology, brightness, Zeta potential, swelling degree and solubility of GCC and the modified GCC were compared, and the modified GCC was applied in papermaking. The influences of the modified GCC on the properties of the paper was investigated. The experimental results showed that comparing to GCC, the swelling property improves slightly, the Zeta potential increases, the solubility reduces and the brightness decreases slightly of the modified GCC as the cationic starch content increases; Cationic starch-modified filler enhances the paper strength obviously; Compared to untreated calcium carbonate, the tensile strength of the paper with cationic-starch modified filler improves more than 143%, burst strength improves more than 185%, the filler retention rate increases by 86.0% when 40% dosage of modified GCC is applied.
