摘 要:格拉斯在小说创作中以象征性的矛盾多维的典型人物诊断民族的弊病,批判了德国市民的劣根性,真诚忏悔纳粹史,为重建社会道德服务。他在小说中努力追求的是"用文学形式来描述整个时期的事实,描述小市民阶级狭隘中矛盾和荒谬以及发生在这段时期的巨大的罪恶"。其"但泽三部曲"中象征性人物个性矛盾多维,又寓意丰富。其创作"但泽三部曲"意在借助象征性的矛盾多维的人物来揭示20世纪30、50年代德国的市民特性,以此阻止人们对国家社会主义妖魔化。Grass diagnosed the German nation's illness using symbolic characters with multifaceted conflicts in his novels, criticized the deep-rooted evils of the German nation, and sincerely repented the history of the Nazis, in order to rebuild social morality. In his novels his pursuit was "to describe in literary forms the facts of the entire period, and the contradictions and absurdities of contemporary ordinary citizens, as well as the terribly evil things occurred during this period ". In his "Danzig Trilogy", he created symbolical figures rich in implications, with contradictory and multi-dimensional personalities. His purpose was to reveal symbolically the peculiar characteristics of the German people in the early 20th century, so as to prevent people from demonizing national socialism.
