摘　　要：美国健康传播研究从理论的角度对每一种新出现的疾病和危机作出反思,提出相应的应对措施和建议,并把目标确定为制定改善社会整体健康状况的有效传播战略。美国健康传播的理论研究不断融合其他交叉学科各种理论的特点,在不同专业领域的理论和方法上相互促进,逐渐发展成为一门新的学科。美国健康传播的主要研究方法包括:问卷调查、内容分析、实验法、文献研究、个案研究、访谈法等。From a theoretical viewpoint, American health communication researchers reflect on emerging diseases and crises, propose appropriate response measures and adviees, and make effective communication strategies to improve the health status of the whole society as their goal. The theoretical studies of health communication in America constantly integrate the characteristics of various theories of other disciplines, practice their theories and methodologies, and gradually develop a new discipline. The main research methods of American health communication include survey, content analysis, experiment, literature study, case study and interviewing.
