摘　　要：住房是人类生存和发展的必要物质条件,居住权是一项基本人权。在市场经济中,为社会成员尤其是中低收入群体提供基本的住房保障是国家或政府应尽的责任。经济法以社会利益为本位,追求实质公平和正义。以经济法视野和理念审视住房保障在我国经济和社会发展中的作用具有重要的理论和实际价值。The right of housing is a basic human righ t.It is important for mankind’s survival and development.It is the government’s responsibility to give basic housing security for people especially the middle-and –low-income class in the market-oriented economy. The economic law emphasizes the public interest very much and seeks social justice.Housing security has important theorical and practical value in the economic and social development from the perspective of economic law.
