摘　　要：论述了GIS在城市规划中的应用,主要包括在城市规划管理和城市规划编制中的应用,指出在城市规划中运用GIS技术可以为城市规划管理和编制提供有力的决策支持。在规划管理中利用GIS的海量数据处理功能可以构建城市规划管理信息系统,实现规划管理的现代化和自动化。在规划编制中利用GIS的空间分析功能可以对规划中的复杂空间问题进行辅助决策,从而使城市规划方案更加合理可行。This paper discussed the applications of GIS in urban planning including urban planning management and urban planning. Pointing out that the applications of GIS in urban planning system can provide a powerful decision support for urban planning management and urban planning. By using GIS massive data processing functions we can build urban planning management information system to realize the modernization and automation of planning management. Meanwhile GIS spatial analysis function can support decision-making for the complex spatial problems so that planning scheme is more reasonable and feasible in urban planning.
