摘　　要：MPC8568E是FreeScale公司生产的PowerQUICCIII通信处理器,它内部集成了高性能嵌入式PowerPC核,与IPSec应用相关的用于实现安全的安全机,实现复杂协议处理的QUICC机以及丰富的外部设备连接资源,用于满足下一代网络应用对高性能通信处理器的需求,适用于高端通信及网络产品的控制应用。首先描述了MPC8568E的主要硬件特性,介绍了采用MPC8568E通信处理器来设计的一种通用的高性能通信处理器模块,并重点介绍了使用QUICC机模块实现的10/100/1000M以太网接口。The MPC8568E PowerQUICC IIITM is Freescale＇s Versatile communications processor integrates a high-performance PowerPC RISC microprocessor, a very flexible system integration unit and many communications peripheral controllers that can be used in a variety of applications, particularly in communications and networking systems. This paper describes the main features of MPC8568E hardware, introduces a high performance communication processor module based on MPC8568E, and emphasizes on introduction of the realization of 10/100/1000M Ethernet interface by using QUICC engine module.
