摘　　要：材料策略即建筑师以表达材料作为应对建筑学困境的方式。19世纪,西方建筑界借助材料表达回应新时代和旧形式之间的矛盾,寻求新的建筑学发展方向。而最近半个世纪,材料策略则被用以回应建筑学对文化差异的漠视。文章选取这两个时段展开论述。一方面讨论了材料策略的时效性;另一方面,揭示了时效性中隐含的材料策略对于建筑学的意义。Operating method of materials would be ＂Material Strategies＂ when architects responded to the puzzledoms of architecture by placing material as the heart of architecture aesthetics. In the 19th century in order to find a new way, the Western architecture circle responded to the conflict between new age and old forms by expressing the material qualities. While in the recent several decades, the ＂Material Strategies＂ have been using to reform the absence attention to culture difference. This essay discusses the ＂Material Strategies＂ in the two periodes of time. Onthe one nana this essay intends to prove that the ＂Material Strategies＂ change wtth the times Dy making contrastive analysis of ＂Material Strategies＂ in the 19th century and the recent several decades respectively. On the other hand, this essay aims to argue that placing, material the heart of architecture has a great significance to architecture.
