摘　　要：大学社会责任是大学在人类社会发展历程中应承担的独特的使命与责任。大学责任既不同于大学的三大职能(教学、科研、服务),又超越大学的社会义务。大学的社会责任有边界,又是有序的、发展的。大学只有准确把握"社会责任"的内涵,才能担当起大学应有的社会责任,实现"全方位服务和引导社会的发展"的使命。The social responsibilities of the university refer to the mission and responsiblities that it assumes for the development of human society. They are different from the three major functions the univer- sity performs, namely teaching, research and service. They are more than its social obligations. Social responsibihties of the university are well defined and ordered, yet they are dynamic. To fulfill its social responsibilities and realize its goal of providing comprehensive service to the community and leading social development, a university must grasp the true meaning of social responsibilities.
