摘　　要：改革开放以来,江门保险业取得了长足发展,但与经济、社会发展对保险业的要求相比,仍存在较大差距。在江门全面建设小康、和谐社会进程中,保险业要采取力促GDP增长、加大"三农"支持力度、多为个私经济服务、完善社会保障、创造更多就业岗位等举措,发挥好"保驾护航"和"经济助推"作用。Since China＇s reform and opening, Jiangmen＇s insurance industry has made great strides, but it still lags behind the economic and social development. In the process of building a moderately prosperous and harmonious society in Jiangmen, the insurance industry should step up its efforts to promote the GDP growth and support agriculture, rural areas, and farm- ers, provide more service to the private sector, take measures to improve social security and create more jobs, play a better role in protecting and promoting the economy.
