摘　　要：DVENET(distributed virtual environment network)是在国家“八六三”计划支持下开发的一个分布式虚拟环境基础信息平台 ,为我国研究分布式虚拟环境提供了必要的网络平台和软硬件基础环境 .它主要包含了一个专用计算机网络 ,以及支持分布式虚拟环境研究与应用开发的各种标准、开发工具和基础数据 (如三维逼真地形 ) .应用 DVENET开发的一个分布式虚拟战场环境 ,将分布在不同地域的若干仿真器联合在一起 ,并应用虚拟现实技术研制了一些虚拟仿真平台 ,构成了一个进行异地协同与对抗战术仿真演练的分布式虚拟环境 .文中介绍了 DVENET的研究目标、组成。DVENET(distributed virtual environment network) is a distributed virtual environment sponsored by National High Technology(863) Project. It includes a wide\|area network, a set of standards and toolkits, and some other resources (such as 3D terrain), all of which can be used to run and/or develop distributed virtual environments in a wide range of fields. In fact, based on DVENET, a distributed virtual battlefield environment has been developed, which involves many existing man\|in\|the\|loop simulators and some virtual simulators developed by using virtual reality technology. In an exercise, hundreds of entities controlled by different nodes, which are distributed from different locations, can take part in and interact in a 110 km×150 km synthetic environment to support joint\|exercise among varieties of forces. The objectives, components, and features of DVENET are introduced in the paper.
