摘　　要：Prelude是一种优秀的 ATM交换机构 ,由于它最初是为实验目的而设计的 ,与实际的ATM传输速率、ATM信元结构等有很大的差别 .为了实现简便、实用的 ATM交换网络 ,文中对Prelude中不适合 ATM交换的部分进行了修改和补充 ,提出了一种基于 Prelude思想的 13× 13的实用 ATM交换模块 ,侧重点是将其实现方法具体化 ,并在此基础上提出了交换模块的扩展方案 .实用 ATM交换模块利用 ATM信头中 HEC字节不参与交换的特点 ,将信元分成 13段进行交换 ,具有实现简单、对器件的要求低。Because the Prelude switching architecture is originally proposed for experiment, it is difficult to implement it into a practical ATM switching architecture. The parts which are not suitable for the implementation of ATM switching are modified, and an ATM switch module based on the Prelude principle is introduced. Since the HEC in the head of ATM cell doesn't need to be switched, a whole cell can be segmented into 13 parts. This feature results in the easy implementation and good scalability of the ATM switch module.
