摘　　要：文中针对网络管理中普遍存在的能力与开销间的矛盾 ,在分析比较目前常用的两类网络监控策略的基础上 ,提出了混合式监控策略 ,介绍了一个采用混合式监控策略的网管平台—— L AN-MAN.该平台遵循现行工业标准 SNMP所规定的管理模型、服务和协议 ,同时提供对 RMON远程监控标准的支持 ,并给出 L ANMAN在监控性能方面的实验结果 。Based on the comparison of the two fundamental network monitoring strategies,namely the polling\|based and the delegation\|based,a hybrid strategy is proposed in the paper.A network management platform LANMAN using this strategy is then presented.LANMAN follows the management model,services,and protocols specified by SNMP,while it supports the RMON remote monitoring standard.The test data and the comparison with existing products are also given.
