摘　　要：本文拟从生态批评的视角,通过对北美印第安人口头自然诗的分析,探讨其对自然的热爱及与自然和谐共处的主题,解读与分析其蕴含的生态思想,原始的、难能可贵的生态保护意识以及人与生态之间的和谐关系,以期对作品的内涵及其内在价值做出评述。本文旨在从生态批评的视角说明生态文学批评对环境保护的重要启示和意义,强调生态危机的重要性及紧迫性。This article intends to analyze North America Indian natural poems from the perspective of eco-criticism in order to unfold the .theme of North American Indians＇ respect towards nature and the harmonious relationship between nature and human beings. By interpreting the eco-ideology and the primitive but precious sense of ecological protection implied in the poems, the article tries to evaluate the essence and value of the poems. This thesis alms at pointing out the significance of environment protection from the angle of eco-criticism, and emphasizing the importance and imminence of ecological crisis.
