摘　　要：2008年10月,中国图书馆学会发布了《图书馆服务宣言》,它是一份以展示中国图书馆核心价值体系为主体的文件。是中国图书馆人向社会做出的庄严承诺。《宣言》的诞生是中国图书馆事业发展的产物,也是中国当代图书馆人为中国图书馆事业奉献的智慧结晶。它必将成为今后我国图书馆事业发展的行动指南。In October 2008,the Chinese Library Society issued Library Service Manifesto.It is a document whose main body is to reveal the core value system of the Chinese Libraries.The paper is the solemn promise of Chinese library staff menders to our society.The birth of this manifesto is not only the product of the development of China’ s library cause but the crystallization of wisdom of modem Chinese library workers for China’ s library cause.It will certainly become the guide to action for the development of China’ s library cause.
