摘　　要：在语言学史上,奥托.叶斯柏森是为数不多、生命力经久不衰的泰斗人物之一。他毕生孜孜不已、勤耕不辍、著作等身,为语言学界留下丰富的宝贵遗产。其研究范围涉及语音学、语法学、语言史、外语教学、心理语言学、国际辅助语等语言学各个领域。梳理挖掘叶斯柏森语言学理论具有学术与实践双重意义。Otto Jespersen, one of the few great linguists who enjoy perennial popularity the world over, makes lifelong efforts and produces hundreds of works which are of great value to learners of languages and linguists in general. His research involved nearly all fields of linguistics, such as phonetics, grammar, language history, foreign language teaching, psycholinguistics, and international auxiliary language, among others. It is of both academic and practical value to review and delve into Jespersen＇ s linguistic theory.
