图书情报工作在教学科研中的作用及外文资料的开发与利用

摘　　要：图书馆的工作水平是衡量高校教学、科研能力的重要标志之一。高校中的图书情报工作作用主要体现在:为教学、科研工作提供文献情报的保障,帮助教学、科研人员吸收利用最新研究成果,为教学科研提供有力的文献资源支持服务;在学生学习过程中需要加强信息素质教育,提高其利用文献资源的能力。同时,随着高科技的迅速发展,国际间的信息交流日益频繁,借鉴和学习发达国家的先进经验和获取最新科研成果信息,外文资料是必不可少的。因此为更好地体现高校中图书情报工作的各项作用,外文资料的开发与利用变得尤为重要。The level of library work in an institution of higher learning serves as an important indication of its teaching and scientific research capabilities.The roles of library and documentation work in teaching and research are mainly embodied in the followings：to cultivate new-type talents who are qualified for independent analysis and research work;to help teachers and researchers take advantage of others＇ research results so to promote the development of educational and sci-tech research cause;to save teaching and research time,avoid the waste of human labour,material and financial resources;to carry out the intelligence education so to ensure smooth running of teaching and research work,etc.For doing the library work well,the work of Development and Utilization of Foreign Documentation are important.This report summarizes the roles of library and documentation work in teaching and research and advance the Development and Utilization of Foreign Documentation in development the work of library work.
