摘 要:本文从全球化背景出发,对我国外语教学进行了批判性反思,指出中国外语教学应坚持继承与借鉴相结合的发展方向,一方面要看到借鉴西方外语教学理论方法的必然性,同时更要看到继承我国外语教育传统的必要性。为了使外语教学朝着具有中国特色的方向发展,本文同时提出应采取三项行动:开展中国外语教育传统研究,改造交际法,融入传统法,淡化工具性,强化入文性。This article,starting from the developing trend in globalization, pinpoints that foreign language teaching (FLT) in China should keep going in the direction of inheriting and borrowing in the future. On one hand, it must be realized that it is inevitable to borrow language teaching theories and methods from the West, and on the other hand, it must be also realized that it is necessary to inherit fine traditions from the longstanding FLT practice in China. In accordance with this conception, the article proposes that some actions should be taken to make FLT develop with Chinese characteristics, such as doing research on Chinese traditions, transforming communicative teaching by integrating with traditional methods, and undermining instrumentality and highlighting humanity in teaching practice.
