摘　　要：后现代主义迷失在否认定义的文字盘旋之中,已经掉入了定义的陷阱;"新小说"坚信世界和人生毫无意义,这种认知本身就是有意义的,尤其当它用文字表达出来的时候;"新小说"反对阐释,拒斥合理的故事情节,而读者受传统阅读心理的制约,阅读时会自动赋予"新小说"以意义和情节的完整性。While post-modernists lost themselves in entangling with words of denying definition, they have already fallen into a trap of trying to give a definition. Writers of ＂New Novel＂ convinced that the world and life were meaningless. In fact, this conception itself is meaningful, especially when it is expressed in writing. Writers of ＂New Novel＂ were against interpretation and rejected arranging reasonable plots in their novels. But readers, who are influenced by traditional reading psychology, do automatically give ＂New Novel＂ meanings and complete plots in reading process .
