摘　　要：文章从上海市绿化土壤的形成过程，阐述了上海市绿化土壤的特点，指出：上海市绿地土壤肥力较低，是制约其绿化发展的重要因素之一，论文阐明了在上海市绿地建设和养护管理中．按系统工程学原理．实施科学的、可操作的土壤改良和管理对策。Soil is the foundation of urban forestry. There is a close relation between soil and plants. The soil formation process and soil characteristics of urban landscaping areas in Shanghai were discussed in this paper. The poor soil fertility in is one of the key limitation factors for the plant growth in Shanghai. Based on the principle of system engineering, a scientific and practical strategy for soil improvement and management should be implemented for construction and tending of landscaping areas in Shanghai City.
