摘　　要：目的了解现阶段武汉地区综合医院的男护士需求、接受及认知情况,并提出对策,为男护士招生和培养模式的创新提供依据。方法采用自制问卷对武汉地区5所三级甲等综合医院患者及家属、医护人员、护理管理部门进行男护士认知、接受和需求相关情况调查,并对数据进行统计和分析。结果患者、家属和医护人员对男护士的总知晓率为66.7%,其中医护人员高于患者及家属(P<0.01);急诊科、骨科、手术室、泌尿外科、监护室和精神科患者及家属对男护士的接受率较高(62.7%),总受调查者中不接受男护士服务的比例占25.0%,其中妇产科比例较高(84.6%),高于其他科室(P<0.01);认为男性非常适合和适合从事护理工作的分别占12.3%和84.1%;身体素质好、心理承受能力强、能承担更多责任、有胆量被普遍认为是男性从事护理工作的比较优势;281名受调查者中认为需要男护士的占55.2%;最需要男护士的科室分别是急诊科、精神科、手术室、骨科、监护室和泌尿外科;5所医院对男护士的剩余需求量约为100名;目前男护士紧缺的原因在于护士地位、收入待遇、社会歧视、传统思维等因素的影响。结论武汉地区现阶段对男护士有较大需求,各院校需加大培养力度,优化培养模式,促进男护士队伍的健康快速发展。Objective To understand the needs, acceptance and recognition of general hospitals about male nurses. Methods A self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the needs, acceptance and recognition about male nurses among the patients and relatives, medical staff and nursing administrative departments, the collected data analyzed statistically. Results The total recognition rate was 66.7% and the rate of medical staff was higher than that of the patients and relatives （P〈0.01）. The acceptance rate of the patients and their relatives of emergency department, orthopaedics department, operation room, urinary surgery department, ICU and psychiatric department was 62.7%, but the un-acceptance rate was only 25.0%, among which the un-aceeptanee rate of gynaecology and obstetrics department accounted for 84.6%, significantly higher than those of other medical departments （P〈0.01）. 12.3% of them believed males are most suitable for nursing occupation and 84.1% believed they are just suitable for it. 55.2% of them thought male nurses should be a need and the medical departments which needed male nurses most included emergency department, orthopaedics department, operation room, urinary surgery department, ICU and psychiatric department. The 5 hospitals needed about 100 male nurses. The reasons why male nurses are in urgent need came from the social status of nurses, the income, social bias and traditional thinking. Conclusion Wuhan needs a number of male nurses. The medical colleges should enroll more male nursing students and optimize training modes so as to propel the cultivation of male nursing team.
