摘　　要：在我国漫长的历史进程中,国家藏书机构受到来自社会发展需求、国家政治局势、职官机构建制和组织内部管理等因素的影响,形成了核心业务层面的典籍传承、基础服务层面的信息参考、业务延伸层面的知识创造和功能拓展层面的教育交流等社会职能,并表现出文献贮藏的齐备性、服务对象的高端性、机构建制的总揽性及文化传承的主流性等基本特征。预计未来职能的确立与发挥将在面向服务对象层面深化知识信息服务,在面向全球环境层面加强文化推广交流,在面向相关机构层面优化合作竞争机制。In China＇s long historical process,national collection agencies have been affected by many factors,such as social development needs,the country＇s political situation,officials agencies form and its internal management.They have formed some social functions including literature transmission in core business level,information reference in basic service level,knowledge creation in business extension level,and educational exchanges in functional expand level.These functions are shown documentation storage availability,high-end clients,agencies of the overall establishment and the mainstream of cultural heritage.The establishment and realization of future functions can be expected to deepen knowledge and information services in service-oriented object level,promote culture exchange in global environment,optimize the mechanism of cooperation confronting relevant agencies.
