摘  要:2010年亚运会主办城市归属中国广州,其蕴涵影响深远。广州亚运会既是广州旅游业发展的最大契机,也是广州城市发展进程中难得的一次历史机遇。广州应通过亚运会这一高端平台,向世界全面展现其形象与素质、经济实力、旅游吸引力与文化魅力,提升城市的竞争力。广州要抓住这一机遇,最大程度的提升广州国际化知名度和影响力,塑造国际化旅游城市的新形象。要充分利用广州的旅游资源及地域特点,拓展多种形式的旅游产品,关注"后亚运效应",增强亚运旅游资源的持续利用,使广州市旅游业实现跨越式发展。The 16th Asian Games will be held in Guangzhou, China, in 2010, whose influence on the city is profound. The Asian Games is the largest moment for Guangzhou to develop tourism and a rare historical opportunity in the process of urban development. Guangzhou should exhibit its image and quality, economic power, tourism and cultural attraction to the whole world, enhance its international competitiveness, popularity and influence, and create new image as an international tourism city through holding the 16th Asian Games-the high-end platform. At the same time, Guangzhou should expand various tourism produets, focus "after-Asian Game effect", increase sustainable utilization on tourism resource of Asian Games, and realize leap-forward development by means of its tourism resources and regional features.
