硫辛酸在动脉粥样硬化中的应用现状

摘　　要：α-硫辛酸及其还原态二氢硫辛酸是高效抗氧化剂,可以清除自由基和活性氧,螯合金属离子,再生谷胱甘肽、维生素C、维生素E等抗氧化剂,可减弱氧化应激,保护内皮细胞,对动脉粥样硬化等多种心血管疾病具有较好的预防和治疗作用。现对硫辛酸的一般理化性质、抗氧化性能、在动脉粥样硬化中的应用和进展做一简要综述。Lipoic acid and its reduced dithiol form, dihydrolipoic acid, are powerful antiuxidants. Their functions include： 1. clearance of reactive oxygen species, 2. regeneration of exogenous andendogenous antioxidants such as vitamins C and E, and glutathione, 3. chelation of metal ions. They can also attenuate the oxidative stress reaction, protect endothelial cells and heal atherosclerosis.
