摘　　要：本文采用VB和MapObjects进行组件式开发,将GIS应用于气象领域,以江苏省地图为背景,用矢量图形象直观地展现出城市、交通、景点等的分布情况,形成了可视化的图文查询界面,并把数据分析、空间分析引入其中,从而提高了气象服务的水平和效率。Basing VB and MapObjects for component-based development,the paper applies GIS to the field of meteorology,and displays such distributions as cities,railways,traffic,sceneries etc in the form of vector graphics using Jiangsu Province map as back-ground.In this way,the visual query interface can be formed,moreover,the system accomplish the function of data analysis and spatial analysis,then it improves the level and efficiency of meteorology service.
