重文轻武民族性格的形成的及改善方略

摘　　要：中庸忍让、内敛、不张扬、好静不好动,薄肢体而重精神是中国人特有的民族性格,这种民族性格并非与生俱来,而是在社会历史发展过程中统治者根据自身利益需要,为维护统治需要和社会安定选择适合其统治思想作为社会主流正统思想而进行引导和不断强化逐渐形成的;重文轻武的思想对于当今我国体育运动的开展是一个障碍,我们应该并且能够通过政策引导、更新观念及提高体育工作者自身素质来改变这种重文轻武的观念以适应当代体育发展的新趋势。Laying store by the Golden Mean,tolerance,taciturn,non-aggressiveness,preference of tranquility to action,and belittling body building but attaching importance to spiritual culture are the unique national character of the Chinese people.However,this national character is not in the blood of the Chinese,but is gradually given rise by the rulers in order to meet the needs for the rulers to maintain their regime and social stability in their own interests.As the idea of stressing cultural cultivation but despising military accomplishments is a barrier to the popularization of sports,we ought to remodel this idea through policy guidance,renewal of the old ideas and the improvement of the quality of the sports workers.
