摘  要:本文合成了一种低熔点的芳香酯型液晶环氧树脂双4-环氧丙氧基乙氧基邻甲基对苯二酚酯(MPEPEB),并用IR、EA、1H-NMR、DSC和POM对其结构和性能进行了表征,结果表明MPEPEB在78.7℃~133.9℃之间为向列型液晶,并在降至-50℃后仍能保持液晶态。DSC研究表明,比较升温固化与等温固化的数据表明固化速率,不仅是反应温度和反应程度的函数,同时还与反应历程有关。固化后的体系具有较低的玻璃化温度,并且室温下保留的液晶结构在升温至86℃~88℃时消失。A novel triaromatic ester liquid-crystalline epoxy resin combining methyl substituent and ethoxyl flexible spacer, p-methylphenylene di {4-[(2,3-epoxypropoxy)ethoxy] benzoate} (MPEPEB),was synthesized.The mesotropic property was investigated by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)and polarized light optical microscopy (POM).MPEPEB shows a lower melting temperature at 78.7℃and a broad nematic mesophase in a range of about 55℃.Meanwhile it shows mesophase till -50℃ in cooling process.The curing agent,2,6-diamino-3,5-diethyholuene (DAE)was chosen to investigate the curing behavior of MPEPEB by means of DSC and POM during isothermal and dynamic processes.During the non-isothermal curing, two exothermal peaks appeared in the DSC curves of MPEPEB/DAE.The comparison between isotheral and dynamic data shows that the curing rate is not a unique function of curing degree and temperature.The cured networks have lower glass temperatures and show mesophase at room temperature which disappear at about 86-88℃.
