有界性与英语动结式

摘　　要：有界性是否是英语动结式的普遍特征一直是学界争论的热点。在阶模式的框架内用时间轴和空间轴共同表征事件的内部时间特征,从而明晰了动结式的体结构和有界性的表征范畴。探讨了有界性与英语动结式之间的关系,即有界性是所有类型动结式的普遍特征,有界性约束动结式的体结构,动结式的体特征实现有界性。Whether telicity is a general property of the English resuhative construction has always been a hot topic in the linguistic academia. This paper, based upon the scalar approach, represents events＇ internal temporal characteristics with both temporal and spatial axis to make the aspectual structure of the resuhative construction and the concept of telicity clear. The paper reexamines the relationship between telicity and the resuhative construction, and concludes that telicity, as a general property of the resultative construction, restricts the aspectual structure of resuhative construction whose aspectual properties realizes telicity.
