摘　　要：后冷战时期美国学术界在对政治伊斯兰的认识方面,分成了自由主义和保守主义两大阵营。自由主义者认为,伊斯兰教与民主是兼容的,伊斯兰教并不内在地反对西方,政治伊斯兰也不是西方的威胁,西方政府应该与伊斯兰主义者妥协;保守主义者则认为,伊斯兰教与民主制充满了内在的矛盾,当代政治伊斯兰对美国构成了威胁,建议美国政府对政治伊斯兰采取强硬的对抗政策。During the period of post Cold War, American academic attitude towards political Islam could be divided into two camps： liberalism and conservatism. The liberalism believed that Islam and democracy could be coexisted and Islam did not object the Western world and the political Islam was not the danger to the Western world. The conservatism believed that there were contradictions between Islam and democracy, modern political Islam was a danger to America and the government of America should take unyielding attitude towards political Islam.
