金融集聚与区域经济增长——基于省际数据的实证分析

摘　　要：论文首先采用区位熵从银行、证券、保险三个方面分析了中国金融集聚程度,发现东部地区的金融集聚程度要明显高于中西部地区。然后采用2003～2007年区位熵的省际数据检验了金融集聚对区域经济增长的影响,发现金融集聚对我国经济增长存在明显的促进作用,银行业对经济增长弹性系数明显大于证券业集聚与保险业集聚的弹性系数,而且其弹性系数呈现比较明显的上升趋势。最后,论文通过建立东、中、西部地区的面板数据模型,同样得出银行业集聚对经济增长作用最明显。industries Firstly, the paper analyzed the financial agglomeration degree of the banking, securities and insurance through the method of regional entropy. It revealed that the financial agglomeration degree in eastern re- gion was much higher than the central and western regions. Then the paper analyzed the effects of financial agglom- eration on regional economic growth by using the regional entropy data of the period of 2003 - 2007. It arrived at the conclusion that financial agglomeration had significantly promoted local economic growth, and that the elasticity coefficient of banking agglomeration, with an obvious upward trend, was higher than that of the securities industry and the insurance industry. This conclusion that the banking agglomeration had significantly enhanced local eco- nomic growth was further supported by the panel-data models for the eastern, central and western regions.
