摘 要:探地雷达是利用超高频脉冲电磁波深测地下介质分布的一种地球物理勘探方法,由于其高效快捷、高分辨率等特征,在浅层与超浅层地质调查中应用越来越广泛。本文以苏丹喀土穆炼油厂区勘察为例,介绍探地雷达在大面积场区岩土工程勘察中的应用,本次勘察目的是详细查明厂区岩土层分布、进行基岩风化带的划分、查明场区构造破碎带发育状况。由于采用了地质雷达探测,钻孔数由原先的500多个孔减少到了63个,工期由原来的6个月缩短为1个半月,大大缩短了勘察周期,节省了勘察经费,尤其对涉外工程,大大降低了间接费用。Ground penetrating radar (GPR) is the general term applied technique whichemplos radio waves (106~109Hz)to map the structure underground. It is wildly used inshallow and super-shallow geological investigation because of it's high efticiency andhigh resolving power. The application of GPR in large site geotechnical investigation isdiscussed in this paper by the way of illustration of the investigation of SUDAN KHARTOUM OIL REFINFACTORY. The aim of the investigation is to divide the rock andsoil and to divide weathered zone of the rock and to map the stucture in the site' Becauseof using GPR, the number of borehole reduce from 500 to 63. By this way, the time andmoney can be saved.
