摘 要:毛细管放电类氖氩等离子体产生的46.9 nm激光是亮度很高的相干光源,有着重要应用前景。影响激光输出的放电参量和制约因素较多,其中毛细管内径属于后者。实验研究了内径分别为3 mm和4 mm的氧化铝陶瓷毛细管输出激光的情况,结果表明在满足3 mm内径的毛细管能输出较强的激光信号的最优放电条件下,4 mm内径的毛细管没有输出激光信号。分析实验现象并与理论结论对照,发现4 mm内径的毛细管中氩等离子体被箍缩到出光状态,主脉冲电流应提高4/3倍,达到约53 kA。Capillary discharge Ne-like Ar 46.9 nm laser is a coherent source with so large brightness that it has important application prospect.There are many discharge parameters and restricting factors which would affect the laser output.One of restricting factors is the inner diameter of capillary.An experimental study of laser output by Al2O3 ceramics capillary with inner diameter of either 3 mm or 4 mm was performed.It is found from the experimental result that the optimal discharge condition can satisfy the capillary of inner diameter of 3 mm with stronger laser signal but can’t meet the capillary of inner diameter of 4 mm.Through analyzing the experimental phenomena and comparing them with theoretical conclusion,it is concluded that in order to Z-pinch Ar plasma inside capillary of inner diameter of 4 mm to laser state,the main-pulse current must be increased 4/3 times,namely to~53 kA.
