摘　　要：我国聚乙烯给水管尚处于未能有效监控长期寿命和长期强度的初级阶段。世界一般水平能够监控长期寿命和长期强度，世界先进水平正在考虑监控快速开裂裂纹增长危险性。在100～500mm直径给水管领域，聚乙烯给水管有很好的发展前景。The effective control of long service and long term strength of polyethylene pipe for water supply still remains in its initial stage in China as compared with the requirenlents of ISO standards. World advanced control technology is taken into consideration to prevent the pipe from rapid crack propagation. Optimistic prospect is seen in themarket of 100～500mm diameter poluethylene pipe for water supply in China.
