摘　　要：本文在深入研究泥岩盖层封闭游离相天然气机理及其能力演化的基础上，通过泥岩盖层毛细管（或压力）封闭能力形成时期与气源岩大量排气期的匹配关系，分析研究了对泥岩盖层封闭游离相天然气有效性及其主要类型，提出一套研究泥岩盖层封闭游离相天然气有效性的方法，其应用结果证明了此方法的可行性，同时阐明了泥岩盖层封闭游离相天然气有效性在天然气藏形成中的重要意义。On the basis of deepgoing study on the mechanism and ability evolution of shale cap rock in sealing free phase gas, the sealing effectiveness of the shale cap rock and its main types are analyzed through the matching relationship between forming stage of capillary (or pressure) sealing ability of cap rock and large amount gas vent period of gas source rock. A set of method that research the effectiveness of shale cap rock in sealing free phase gas is put forward. Application result proves the feasibility of the method and shows the great role of the effectiveness in formation of gas reservoir.
