摘　　要：目的寻找依据病案数据库资料支持医院管理重要的手段,论述医院统计成为医院管理者重视的工作内容之一。方法通过总结,提出医院统计工作数据用于医疗质量评价与改进、医疗服务项目的决策和临床学科发展趋势的判断。结果医院统计可以用不同方法,从不同的角度为医院管理者分析医院发展趋势。结论病案库是一座"金矿",而医院统计则是医院"拓矿队"的"先锋",医院管理者重视了医院统计工作就是重视了医院发展潜力。Objective To find important means in support of hospital management based on medical records data and describe hospital statistics as an important work with hospital managers＇ attention.Methods The function of hospital statistical data was summed up as following：① to evaluate and improve the quality of health care;② for decision making in medical services;③ to determine trends of clinical disciplines.Results Hospital statistics could help analyze the developing trends for hospital managers from different perspectives and different angles.Conclusion Medical records data is a ＂gold mine＂,and hospital statistics is the ＂pioneer＂ of ＂Extension Mine Teams＂.That hospital managers attached importance to the hospital statistics is to the developing potential of the hospital.
