摘　　要：从与时间相关的三个基本概念出发,通过设计洪水频率与设计基准期、设计洪水频率与设计使用年限、设计洪水频率与区域防洪标准、设计洪水频率与抗震设计标准四组对比,得到关于公路桥涵设计中设计洪水频率的几点思考。This article clears three time-related primary concepts, then analyzes the following four groups of comparisons： designed flood fre- quency and design reference period, designed flood frequency and design working life, designed flood frequency and the regional standard for floor control, designed flood frequency and seismic design standard, and summarizes several view about designed flood frequency in road bridge and culvert design.
