摘　　要：从犹太文化中所蕴含的罪、受难、死亡的内涵入手,阐述索尔.贝娄笔下知识分子精神救赎的必要性。贝娄笔下的知识分子都带有深深的负罪感,这种负罪心理体现了圣经文化中的"罪恶"观念,同时也汇聚了作为犹太人的典型文化心态;受难是这些犹太知识分子获得救赎的必修课;死亡问题是触动这些犹太知识分子的最敏感的问题,也成为他们渴望救赎的动力。This thesis expounded the necessity of redemption from the connotation of sin, suffering, death that contained in the Jewish culture. The intellectuals had the deep sense of sin, which not only reflected mentation of culture of the Bible ＂sin＂ concept, but also brought together the typical cultural mentality of Jewish. The suffeting would be the obligatory course of these Jewish intellectuals wanted to obtain the redemption. The death had became not only the most sensitive issues that touched these Jewish intellectuals, but also the driving force for redemption.
