摘 要:作为一种特殊的沉积颗粒类型,包覆颗粒以其特殊的形态非常引人注目。碳酸盐岩中的包覆颗粒大致分为鲕粒、豆粒、核形石3种,由于鲕粒迷人的碳酸盐组分及确切的成因机制未得到合理解释,使其受到沉积学家的青睐而被持续研究。多年来,粒径大于2mm的鲕粒被称为豆粒,但随着新元古代和三叠系粒径大于2mm乃至大于1cm级的鲕粒的发现,碳酸盐岩中包覆颗粒的概念发生了变化:将粒径大于2mm的淡水成因鲕状颗粒称为豆粒,而粒径大于2mm的海相鲕粒被称为巨鲕。概念的转变,意味着沉积学家对成因尚未确定的鲕粒研究的深入,由此可以窥探碳酸盐岩包覆颗粒的研究进程。As one special type of sedimentary grain, coating grains are very attractive due to their special shapes. The coating grains in carbonate rock can be appromately classified into 3 kinds: ooid, pisolite and oncolite. The ooid has carbonate component and its genesis mechanism has not reasonably interpreted yet, so, the ooid is con- cerned by sedimentationists and studied continuously. Since many years before, the ooid with the particle diameter larger than 2ram has been called as pisolite. However, with the discovery of the ooid with the particle diameter larger than 2mm or ever 21 cm in Neoproterozoic and Triassic formations, the definition of the coating grains in carbonate rocks has changed: the freshwater origin oolitic grain with the particle diameter larger than 2mm is called as pisolite, and the marine ooid with the particle diameter larger than 2mm is called as large ooid. The change of definition supposes the further research on the ooid, of which the origin is not determined. The research progress of the coating grains in carbonate rocks can be understood hereof.
