摘 要:全球战略是国际商务和战略管理领域的一个重要研究问题。本文通过对相关文献进行考察,试图提出一个对全球战略的综合认识。我们的文献回顾显示:(1)全球战略包含多种要素,这些要素可能单独存在,也可能同时存在并起作用;(2)组织设计、组织协调和战略制定过程的公正程度影响全球战略的执行;(3)全球战略对企业绩效的影响受到全球战略类型、企业层面因素和外部环境因素的调节;(4)竞争环境的变化影响全球战略的演变,在一定条件下,全球战略也会向多国战略和地区战略转变。Abstract Scholars in strategic management and international business have paid increasing attention to global strategy, global competition and global industry, and put forward a variety of theoretical perspectives on these issues. Although these theoretical perspectives contribute to our understanding on the nature of global competition, there is no a widely accepted theoretical framework on global strategy. The inconsistent theoretical arguments in global strategy literature have been in the way of the further development of theoretical and empirical research. This paper attempts to contribute to extant global strategy literature by providing a comprehensive understanding on extant global strategy literature. Through reviewing both theoretical and empirical studies on global strategy at top tier journals and the studies which are widely cited, this paper investigates the nature of global strategy, the definition of global strategy, the relationship between global strategy and the performance of multinationals, the factors affecting the execution of global strategy and the evolution of global strategy. We argue that: (1) global strategy consists of multiple mechanisms such as global economy of scale and scope, the global adaption of multinationals, multiple market competition, cross-subsidization as well as the configuration and coordination of global value chain. These mechanisms are not mutually exclusive and may coexist in a multinational executing global strategy; (2) organization design and coordination as well as procedure justice affect the implement of global strategy; (3) the performance of MNCs implementing global strategy may be affected by the type of global strategy, external factors and firm level factors such as the degree of internationalization and R&D intensity; (4) As environment changes, global strategy may evolves to the direction of multi-domestic strategy and regional strategy.
