摘　　要：包含地点、对象、主体、期间、内容、目的、方式、性质等八大要素的社区矫正的概念应为:将符合条件的罪犯置于社区内,由专门的国家机关在相关社会团体、民间组织以及社会志愿者的协助下,在判决、裁定或决定确定的期限内,使他们与社会同步发展,能够过上正常的社会生活,对他们进行监管,并以帮助、教育为主,运用社会工作方法的罪犯矫治制度。The definition of community correction should be a criminal correction system where the professional state owned organization puts the qualified criminals into the community,helping them in step with the development of the society to go back to normal lives with the assistance of the relevant social groups,non-governmental organizations and volunteers,within the deadline provided by any judgment,adjudication or decision,and supervise them with the emphasis of help and education under the social work methods,in such definition the eight factors such as the venue,object,subject,term,content,purpose,method and nature are included.
