老挝的民族问题与民族政策

摘　　要：老挝是一个多民族国家,由于划分与识别标准不同,老挝至今还没有精确的民族数目。在老挝的各个民族中,佬族是人口的主体民族。历史上,老挝民族不平等和民族矛盾问题由来已久,后被西方殖民者加以利用,民族矛盾进一步加剧。1975年前后,老挝党和政府采取民族融合的民族政策。经过30多年的发展,老挝的民族政策虽然取得了一些成绩,但实现民族融合的道路任重而道远。Laos is a poly - ethnic state with a complex ethnic composition. This article provides an overview of the Lao ethnic composition, ethnic distribution, ethnic development of the status quo, as well as the historical development of the Lao national profile. On the basis of the introduction, ethnic policy adopted by Laotian government in the year around 1975 has been explored. The achievements and existing problems have been analyzed as well.
