摘  要:本文对Livermore实验室Paladin装置的概况、实验目的和主要实验结果作了介绍。用自编的MICFEL二维数值模拟程序,对Paladin实验结果进行的模拟计算。表果表明,Paladin实验不成功的主要原因是电子束的亮度未达到原定的指标。若电子束电流I>1500A,束亮度B_n≈10~9A/m^2·rad^2,束流能散度(FWHM)<1.5%,则Paladin实验是可以达到几个GW的激光输出功率和接近10%的电子束能量抽取效率的。本文对实现1μm高功率自由电子激光的条件也进行了初步探讨。In this paper . we introduce the experimental configuration , goal and main results for Paladin facility at Livermore National Laboratory . To analysis the experimental results on Paladin . we have programed a two -dimensional code named MICFEL and compared the simulation results with the experimental data on Paladin .It turns out that the main reason why Paladin experiments did not get the preset goal is due to the poor briehtness of the electron beam . If the beam current had reached 1500A and the beam brightness had approched 109A/m2 · rad2, Paladin experiment would have given several GW laser output power and near 10% extractive efficency of the beam . We have also investigated the conditions for producing 1 - μm free electron laser.
