摘  要:民国前期与基督新教在华获得大发展的所谓"黄金时期"相重合,这种长足的发展不惟体现在信众群体扩大和教堂数量增多上,也反映在从事宣教活动的教会组织机构和教职人员的增加上,更表现于基督新教的外在形象在民国转型社会期间的改观上。基督新教在文化上所蕴涵的内在张力,通过联合其它社会团体反对尊孔教为国教的斗争而得到最大的释放,教会人士的自信心由此大增。而"中华归主"所导引下的相关运动,其实质无非就是一场动员全教会力量的大传教运动。但它不久即招致来自中国社会各界,主要是知识阶层的杯葛,声势浩大的"非基运动",正是在教会大规模宣教运动刺激下孕育乃至最终爆发的直接后果。In earlier years of the Republic of China,Protestantism made a great development,protestant population and the number of church were rising,Protestantism institutions and clergymen were both larger than before. The outside image of Protestantism changed in such transitional society. By combining with other social groups,the inside potential of Protestantism developed in the struggle against the movement which tried to make Confucianism as national religion. The paper argues that the movement guided by 'The Christian Occupation of China' was in fact a huge missionary work. However,it was soon against by the whole society,especially the intellectual groups. The paper concludes that it was the large-scale missionary work that directly led to an anti-Protestantism movement.
