摘　　要：从清末顺直咨议局到民国顺直省议会,直隶省议员的工资呈增加趋势。从当时工资水平来看,远高于一般工人及农民,说明议员处于社会中上层。但是议员的工资低于行政官员的工资水平,又说明作为地方立法机关的顺直省议会,在地方权力结构的地位仍低于行政机关。由于财政枯竭,议员的薪水到后期往往长时期拖欠,致使议会的会务难以正常维持,成为近代直隶议会衰亡的原因之一。From Shunzhi council in the late Qing to Shunzhi provincial Assembly of during the Republic of China, Zhili Provincial＇s wage was increasing. Their wage was higher than ordinary workers and peasants. However, the members of wages is below the wage of administrative officials. This showed that the Provincial＇s status in the local power system was still lower than the executive branch. The financial exhaustion and the salary＇s delay resulted the decline of Zhili Parliament.
