摘　　要：随着科研成果传播方式的改变,机构知识库在学术界越来越受关注。在这样的背景下,中国科学院国家科学图书馆提出中科院联合机构知识库建设,旨在实现研究所自有知识资产的有效存储和利用,促进研究人员的学术交流和知识共享,扩大研究所科研成果的传播,提高科研管理和知识服务的水平,同时加速研究所信息服务创新发展。With the significant change of the way of scholarly communication, institutional repository （IR） is more and more popular in academic society. In such a situation, National Science Library proposed federal JnstJtutJonal repositories in Chinese Academy Science （CAS）. The CAS-IR is to build the efficientstorage and utilization platform of institute＇s own knowledge assets, enhance the academic exchange and knowledge sharing between researchers, improve the widespread and utilization of scientific achievements, elevate the level of research management and knowledge service, and promote the development and innovation of institutional information services.
