摘　　要：重庆银行公会自1931年9月25日成立,到抗战爆发前,其组织制度逐渐建立与发展起来,成为了西部地区重要的金融业自律组织,是西部金融近代化的集中体现。同时该组织在稳定重庆金融市场秩序、协助国民政府整理川省金融及辅助地方工商业的发展中都起到了重要作用。This article aims at stating the establishment and development of the Guild of Banks in Chongqing through the unpublished archives and other relative documentations in the Chongqing Archives. The Guild of Banks in Chongqing was set up on September 25, 1931. Its organic system was gradually established and developed before 1937, and became the important self-discipline financial institution in western China. It is the centralized embodiment of the modernization of finance in this area. At the same time, this institution played an important role in stabilizing the financial market of Chongqing, assisting the Kuomintang government in rectifying the financial order of Sichuan, and promoting the develop- ment of the local industry and commerce.
