E-Prime and Its Application in Lexical Decision Task

摘　　要：E-Prime是全球认可的心理实验程序设计系统,其计时精度可达到ms级。为了便于使用,E-Prime采用面向对象的、开放式的设计方式,通过设置对象的属性就可以完成绝大部分的心理研究实验程序。对E-Prime作简单介绍,并以词汇判定任务作为范例简述程序设计过程,期望引起外语界同仁的研究兴趣并进行进一步交流和研究。As the standardized experimental generator, E - Prime is prevalent all over the world nowa- days, and it can provide the best possible timing accuracy （ms）. E - Prime is available for object-oriented, open-style design, and it can complete most of the experimental procedures by setting the objects＇ properties. E- Prime＇s standardized features, to some extent, might meet the needs of foreign language reading research. This paper introduces E -Prime briefly and the program designing process by taking the lexical decision task as an example. The expectation is that the study will probably arouse foreign language colleagues＇ interests in this program and promote further exchanges and study.
